Shugo, known on YouTube as TheShugoTV!, is an abridger, parody artist, editor and voice actor, he founded Ani-Storm and [adult walk] with Sith50

Aside from being the ringleader of Ani-Storm and [adult walk] , he is the mastermind of Pretty Cure KAI, Zettai Karen Children: Mission Impenetrable, Cardfaptor Sakura and countless others parodies, all of which he co-created with his best friend Sith50

Backstory

His abridging ventures began in 2009, he had always wanted to make an abridged series of his own and he had a decent voice range, but......he had trouble getting anything of ground due to not having any resources at the time, sometime in 2010 he got Sony Vegas and began work on a parody that he later took down because he hated it.

Later that year he collaborated with his friend TumorGX to create Pretty Cure Z after both of them were in a Medabots Abridged with ThatWhiteGuy123, eventually a trailer was released and 6 months later, Pretty Cure Z made its debut on YouTube (it's still the highest viewed video on Shugo's account to this day), but eventually Tumor got too busy and Shugo had to put Pretty Cure Z on hiatus.

While working on Pretty Cure Z, Shugo went to the Pretty Cure LJ (a site he used to frequent until recently) and saw that the PCZ trailer was posted on there, he responded and eventually Sith and Shugo gave each other their contact info and began talking on Skype, however it wasn't until 2012 that they started talking to each other more frequently on Skype and became the best of friends.

As a result of their newfound friendship, Ani-Storm (and [adult walk]) was born, and eventually Shugo came up with the idea to retool the stalled Pretty Cure Z and collaborated with Sith to create Pretty Cure KAI, and somewhere along the way Zettai Karen Children: Mission Impenetrable (which had been in the works since 2011) was finally released on February 14, 2013.

Ani-Storm

Sith and Shugo wanted to create a channel akin to Toonami for their parodies, it was Shugo who came up with the name "Ani-Storm" which is an anonym of Toonami and he also designed the logo and pretty much wrote the script for Ani-Storm's promo and also edited the teaser

Sith does most of the editing for the Ani-Storm shows, but Shugo chips in for some of the shows and Shugo also manages the account and moderates the comments

Editing Style

Originally Shugo's editing style was more pseudo-sync with little effort, though this was only exemplified in the awful parody he made in 2010 that shall not be named.

Afterwards, Shugo changed his editing style (particularly the mouth flaps) and it became more in line with the higher profile parodies on YT (such as TFS, YGO Abridged, etc.) as exemplified in Pretty Cure Z

In 2013, two years after his hiatus, Shugo changed his editing style again, being inspired by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (both the manga & the 2012 anime) & Hirohiko Araki's work in general, Shugo decided to incorporate visual sound effects to his already comic book/video game inspired editing style, he tested it out and loved the results and he's been using this style of editing ever since as exemplified in his more recent projects such as Zettai Karen Children: Mission Impenetrable and Cardfaptor Sakura.

He also inserts his own artwork into shows, and creates the logos in Photoshop

Despite the changes to his editing style, his sound mixing has always been top notch, striving to make his work sound more like an actual anime rather than an abridged series, and he primarly uses sound effects from classic anime (70's, 80's, 90's), but he also sprinkles in sounds from video games, American cartoons, music and movies, many of which he actually recorded off of some episodes.

He also likes to blend in old school and new school music as well

Shugo edits with: Sony Vegas Pro 10 and Photoshop CS5, though he would like to try working with After Effects someday

Approach to Parodies

Shugo prefers to just ditch the plot and do his own thing, his reasons being because he wants to watch something new rather than the same show with jokes in it

Sith and Shugo also pretty much insert themselves into the characters, and are inspired by an number of things they see, they are both also fond of breaking the fourth wall whenever they can and insert pop culture references if needed, however they try not to overdo it.

They also like to kill off any characters that they absolutely hate.

Shugo's biggest influences in abridging are: PurpleEyesWTF, Runawayturist, the members of TeamFourStar, Antfish, Sehanort and hbi2k

His hobbies aside from abridging are watching cartoons/anime, reading comics/manga, playing video games, drawing, looking up porn and Rule 34 on the internet, collecting toys, watching wrestling and talking with his friends on Skype among multiple others.
Despite being a huge pervert, he's well educated and he has vast knowledge of pretty much all of his hobbies, especially animation and video games

- Specifically his favorite musical genres are rap, hip-hop, dubstep, heavy metal, rock (especially classic rock & 80's rock), jazz, and classic pop, he also enjoys classical music as well
He's a huge fan of mecha anime and he also plays Super Robot Wars, which solidified his obsession and introduced him to many of the great classic mecha anime he enjoys today
- He's also a fan of the mecha musume genre and enjoys shows like Galaxy Fraulein Yuna, Strike Witches and Sky Girls
- He's also very fond of magical girl shows
- He's also a huge fan of tokusatsu shows, kaiju flick and Asian martial arts movies
- He'll watch pretty much any genre, it doesn't matter to him as long as he enjoys it, the same goes for books and video games
He prefers yuri over yaoi
Shugo prefers the original Dragonball over Dragonball Z, and he prefers the Japanese version over the dub
- He also prefers the dub of Dragonball KAI, and actually likes Colleen Clinkenbeard as Gohan
Shugo and Runawayturist are both huge fans of Saint Seiya, however they both don't like Omega very much, although Shugo does like Yoshihiko Umakoshi's artstyle
