Saiyuki Reload Abridged was one of the first abridged series to appear after Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged.

History

The series started on December 18, 2006.

After leaving to teach in South Korea and having some trouble with maintaining her appearance online, WhiteAsh001/Frolegend seemingly disappeared from the internet without warning when her FroLegend account (named after her rather fluffy hair) was suddenly closed. Further news of her was only to announce her departure from Team Four Star. No reasons were given aside from stress and the truth of the matter was simply that teaching in Korea had become too strenuous to allow for WhiteAsh001 to continue her series.

The series was removed when Frolegend's account was closed because of Kamen Rider Den-O Videos on the account.

She has uploaded her series again, well known for answering comments almost regularity, but has no current plans to continue it. Her newest account name is WhiteAsh002.

She voices all of the characters in her series on her own and is the third person and first female to have an Abridged Series on YouTube after LittleKuriboh and MasakoX & Vegeta3986.

The series was reloaded by WhiteAsh002 on July 6, 2009.

Production

The episodes are made with Windows Movie maker and GoldWave. WhiteAsh records each line as she watches the episode and matches the lip flap of the characters, often making several takes on the same line. She creates a folder for the audio (lines) of each episode and they number of lines usually ends up at around 120-150. Each are recorded and cleaned as .mp3 files. Despite buying countless microphones, WhiteAsh has found that her record is less than stellar due to her handling of headsets, and thus has finally splurged on a 150$ microphone from SAMSON. A C03U USB MULTI-PATTERN CONDENSER Microphone is what she is currently using. It works remarkably well. Just plug it in and use it.
