A parody of the classic survival-horror video game, Resident Evil: Abridged (officially titled 'Resident Evil One-Shot: Abridged') was a Halloween special produced by the abridging team Renegamers back in 2014.

Synopsis[]
Trouble is brewing in the all-American Raccoon City. Strange murders referencing cannibalism have been reported in the news, growing in frequency at an alarming rate. In response, the city's police department dispatched the Special Tactics And Rescue Service (STARS) unit Bravo to the outskirts of the city to investigate the incidents.
However, after 24 hours without a single status update from them, STARS unit Alpha is sent out after them.
Shockingly, things don't go as planned. Ravenous mutated hounds assail the search party, killing one of their members. Now stranded without their helicopter, Alpha team takes refuge inside a lonely, seemingly abandoned mansion nearby. Little do they know, the night will only get weirder from here.

Sequel[]
A follow-up, spoofing the game's sequel was released a year later as Resident Evil 2: Abridged. The parody was released in 2 installments between 2015 and 2016.
It is said that the upcoming Resident Evil 3 abridge would be out eventually
Trivia[]
- Neptune (the giant mutated shark)'s line "I'm like a watery T-rex," was improvised by its voice actor, TheAlbacor.
- A computer error occurred during the video-editing process when it was 80% finished, which wiped the entire thing. The video had to be completely redone a second time.
- Despite this set back, the editor managed to reconstruct the video from the ground up before Halloween.
- Nearly every famous line from the legendarily awful original English dub for Resident Evil was referenced in the writing.

- Original Line - Barry: "Blood! Hope this isn't CHRIS' blood!"

- Jill: "Then find a key to unlock them, Barry. You don't need a Master's degree to figure that one out."
- Original Line - Barry: "A lockpick. It might be useful if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you."
- Wesker: "Poor Jill. A gun pulled on either side of you. In fact, one might call it..." [...] "A Jill Sandwich."
- Original Line - Barry: "That was too close! You were almost a Jill Sandwich!"
- Barry: "Wow! What a mansion!"
- LordQuadros playing a giant serpent is a not-so-subtle reference to the fact that he plays Snake in his series Metal Gear Solid: The Abridged Series.
- This is also not the first time this joke has been done.
