Redbeast13[]
Redbeast13, joined February 22, 2008 and is known mostly for his video editing work on Durarara!! Abridged and Digimon Abridged. Redbeast13 started abridging with this twin brother Shibien13 (now going by StormSage13) and has since revived their Ranma 1/2 Abridged Series now being hosted on their new channel, Abridgiplex, where they collaborate with PyrOMG. Most recently he has teamed up with StormSage13, PyrOMG, and Coffinjockey on Abridgilliance's Digimon Abridged. Since then, he and the rest of Abridgilliance have been absorbed into The Schmuck Squad where Digimon Abridged is now posted as well as where he edits the Akame Ga Kill Abridged series.
Career[]
Redbeast13 has mostly been involved in the editing of each project he's been involved in. He has used a variety of different programs as his skills have developed. Starting with the basic iMovie with Rurouni Kenshin Abridged, moving onto Final Cut Pro 6 for Ranma 1/2 Abridged, upgrading to Final Cut Pro 7 for Durarara, and is now on the Adobe Creative Suite for his current projects.
He's been using Adobe from episode 6 of Durarara!! Abridged onward.
His favorite part of editing is attempting new visual effects, something that has become much more manageable to him after switching to an all Adobe editing workflow. Going on record saying that the most difficult effect he's done is replacing panning backgrounds to help extend scenes or fix continuity.
Redbeast has gone on record saying how he is a professional freelance video editor and has done work for broadcast companies and VFX for indie films. He credits his work on abridged parodies for his skill level saying that he always has a project to keep him in practice.
Redbeast13 has mentioned that he tends to edit multiple projects at the same time including behind the scenes, commentaries, bloopers, and abridged episodes.
Since joining The Schmuck Squad he's dipped his toes in more elaborate VFX & CGI.
