  • The story for this episode, John Knowles's "A Separate Peace," has been planned since the PTA's conception, because Elf was reading it in her English class when Blade first showed her Princess Tutu.
  • This is the premiere of the second season opening, which still uses "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'" as the theme song, but has updated footage.
  • At (5:28), Mytho's fingernails were actually airbrushed blue by Blade using Photoshop, even if it's hard to see.
  • At (7:40), Mytho's scream was once again done by Elf.
