Pokémon Sun and Moon Abridged is the title of DeWarioFreak's abridged series based on the Pokémon Sun and Moon anime. It is co-created and written by DeWarioFreak and TheCodingGamer. The series follows Ash Ketchup in his adventures on the Alola region with his partner Pikachu. The two often get into mischievous and lewd trouble.
Similar to other abridges, Pokémon Sun and Moon Abridged takes the characters of the anime and adds humor their personalities, and even changes their background story. Some Pokémon can also talk in this abridgement.
Pokémon Sun and Moon Abridged has been very well received with a large following, thousands of likes and many positive comments, including some that claim the abridge is superior to the actual anime.
On September 20, 2019, the ninth and final episode released.

Pokémon Sun and Moon Abridged was a project that DeWarioFreak planned for around a month. Expecting competition, DeWarioFreak was determined to have the first abridgement of the Pokémon Sun and Moon anime.
DeWarioFreak needed voices to help on the project, so he created a CastingCallClub page (that still exists), asking for help on voices. Through this, he was able to get several voices on the project.
The day the first episode of the anime aired in Japan, DeWarioFreak and TheCodingGamer wrote the script for the first episode. They finished it the next day, and sent out lines shortly.
After close to two weeks of editing, the first episode launched on December 5th, 2016, to much positive reception. DeWarioFreak confirmed in the video, that another episode was in production, which has now been released, thus continuing the series.
Mallow was formerly voiced by LizzieBlinx. Starting with Episode 5, she is now voiced by Arakachi.

- Before the release of Episode 4, the Ash Ketchup vs. series was made, which showed Ash battling the Poké girls of each region prior, except Misty.
