Death Note Abridged is an abridged series of the Death Note anime. The series was created by CharlestonVO, who also edits and voices Ryuk, and is written by CharlestonVO and bell, who voices Light. Changes from the Original[]
- Light is mentally retarded, being unable to grasp what the Death Note is; constantly killing people with it because he's using it like a diary.
- The fire trap in the desk is part of Light's plan to create a phoenix, by mixing fires, feathers and souls captured by the Death Note.
- Ryuk sticks around because he is fascinated what a retard would do with the Death Note.
- L is still smart, but incompetent as a detective; jumping to the conclusion that a "Hitler blowfish" is jealous of humans having shoulders. He calls idea of plants being the culprits ridiculous as "they have no emotions other than being salad.
- He handcuffs Light to himself because Light is just an overgrown toddler who cant be trusted not to wander off.
- Watari is passive aggressively rude to everyone.
- Misa is the proper Kira in this world, even blackmailing L to leave her alone.
