- Series that are no longer updating, judging by total creator inactivity and/or lack of updates for past 2-3 years, or by an announcement of series retirement
- Typically intended for long-running series that have covered all or most of at least one season or story-arc (i.e. Bleach Soma Abridged, Sailor Moon Abridged (Megami33 Version)), but some series with only 3-4 episodes may qualify (i.e. Dub of the North Star)
- A significant number of episodes of the series must remain available online, or they will be instead be sorted into the “Dead” category
